Here are a selection of some of the kind words from guests who have stayed at the mill.

June 2006
'Everything about the holiday was lovely and I could bore you with pages of gushing praise! The house is beautiful and very homey... There were so many nice touches; the cut flowers everywhere, the books, guide books, magazines, the childrens books, the beach mats, the fabulous shower, the herb garden, the UK tv. We visited Biarritz and St Jean-de-Luz regularly and love both of them.

So anyway, let me just say a simple 'thank you' for having such a lovely house in such a lovely place. We would love to come again and are thinking about inviting some friends

We stayed in the mill in the last week of July/August and had a lovely time. The kids really appreciated all the toys and boogie boards and the house was just perfect. Ghislaine was really nice and helpful too.

August 2006
We had a lovely time at the Mill! Quite a lot of kingfisher sightings, and hundreds of butterflies, dragonflies, water boatmen and insects of various kinds...There were lizards, wagtails, wrens and other unidentified birds. I saw a deer briefly coming down to drink, and the horses came a few times, and the duck family, who waddled off across the fields in the evenings. Lovely! ... The kitchen is very well equipped - I don't think we were stuck for anything, and we did do plenty of cooking. We were impressed by the supply of books and cookbooks too! By the way, we voted the "wicker" chairs on the terrace the most comfortable things we've sat on in ages.

New Year 2006/07
Thank you for having us at moulin de pierretoune. We absolutely
loved it. It was very well equipped and nice and clean. We were
especially lucky with the weather which was unseasonably warm -
21degrees on new years eve.

February 2007
... Sunday was really nice and we drove down to St Jean de Luz. The weather the rest of the week was beautiful, blue skies and some heat to go with it.
The mill was a great location for our househunting and it was great to come back to at the end of the stressful days.
We had breakfast on your terrace most mornings setting us up for the day ahead.
Many Thanks
Katie and Brian Lavery, N. Ireland

A fantastic week spent surfing and eating at some great bistros. We're already thinking about our next trip here in the autumn.

April 2007
These days have been wonderful. During our time in this 'fairytale' house, we've spent our days visiting places we had never seen before like Biarritz and the Basque country. The scenery has been amazing with all the fabulous buildings and countryside. We spent our evenings by the fire with hot chocolate, watching DVDs and playing cards.
After visiting the cities around we spent our last day here enjoying the river and the garden. We played lots of games with all the garden resources. We even bodyboarded down the river! We would love to come back some day, in the summer. A bientôt!
